2011 Do it Best May Market

The 2011 Do it Best May Market returned to Indianapolis and the recently expanded Indiana Convention Center. Members entered the market floor Friday night for the two-hour Sneak Peek event.

At the 3M booth, a racecar equipped with video monitors allowed visitors to simulate a race around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Randall Jones, president of Greencastle, Ind.-based Headley Hardware, talked with members after the Extreme Retailing panel discussion at the May Market.

Jeff Ridgeway, left, Do it Best's merchandise manager for outdoor power equipment and garden tools, discussed new products during the event's Merchandising Market Preview.

On the market floor, MSA Safety Works displayed its colors. The Do it Best event took up a total of 450,000 sq. ft. of the newly expanded Indiana Convention Center.

Pallet specials, such as these bird feeders from Hiatt Manufacturing, were one of the big draws at the Do it Best market.
