Actor Josh Duhamel and Valspar pitch in for Habitat for Humanity

Josh Duhamel, an actor best known for his role in ABC's All My Children and the Transformers movie series, recently teamed up with Valspar Paint to launch Valspar Hands & Hearts for Habitat.

Valspar Hands & Hearts for Habitat will auction off celebrity handprints created with Valspar Paint and benefits Habitat for Humanity's Disaster Response Program.

Autographed handprints have already been received from the likes of Duhmael, Kate Bosworth, Mischa Barton, Fergie Duhamel, Ethan Hawke, Heather Graham, Minka Kelly, Jenny McCarthy, Lea Michele, Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, Naomi Watts and more.

"I am proud to partner with Valspar Paint and Habitat for Humanity for this important program which benefits a cause that is very near and dear to my heart," said Duhamel. "The rebuilding process is ongoing; I’ve seen it first-hand in my hometown of Minot, North Dakota with the destructive floods in 2011. Through this program, everyone can support Habitat families as they repair and rebuild their communities and gain access to safe and secure places to live. Please, bid now."

Valspar will donate $1,000 to the fund for each set of handprints in addition to proceeds from the auction, with a minimum donation of $25,000.
