Hurd is honored as U.S. exporter
Hurd Windows and Doors has been named a 2012 Exporter of the Year winner for marketing its Made in America products in 20 countries worldwide. The award was presented by ThinkGlobal Inc., publisher of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial News USA.
The Exporter of the Year award in the Building/Construction/Hardware category was presented to Hurd’s President and CEO Dominic Truniger and Director of International Sales Scott Klieforth during the Asia/Pacific Business Outlook conference in Los Angeles.
Medford, Wisconsin-based Hurd has a 90-year tradition of Made in America custom wood windows and doors that are built to the highest standards of excellence and quality. Hurd products, which are sold exclusively through more than 400 distributors in the United States and Canada, and in 20 countries worldwide, are manufactured by some 400 craftsmen.
“We are focused on dramatically expanding our international market presence,” Klieforth said. “Export sales have helped us diversify our business during the current challenges of our domestic economy. We are extremely honored by the recognition our achievement have earned.”
