Lowe’s settles dispute over impact instruments

Acacia Research Corp. has announced that it has entered into a license agreement with Lowe’s covering patents directed to impact instrument technology. This agreement resolves the parties' dispute that was pending in the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

Impact instruments include a range of testing and measuring devices such as infrared cameras for electrical inspection, building integrity and energy loss.
