Pro-Build enters Las Vegas market
Pro-Build Holdings, the industry’s largest pro dealer, has announced its intention to purchase Rosen Building Supplies, a five-unit supplier of drywall and steel framing materials to the south Florida and Las Vegas markets. The purchase price was not disclosed.
The deal builds on a recent flurry of acquisitions by the company. Late last month, Pro-Build announced it would purchase the LBM division of HD Supply, which operates out of 19 lumberyards in the Atlanta area and 20 in Florida. In December, Pro-Build announced it would acquire Lumber Inc., a distributor of lumber, flooring and roof trusses based in Albuquerque, N.M.
Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Rosen Building Supplies has locations in Miami, Riviera Beach, Vero Beach and Fort Meyers. In Las Vegas, the company operates as Garrett Materials. It has been selling into the residential and commercial building markets since 1996.
Founder Drew Rosen will remain with the company, along with two other members of the management team, Brian Gordon and J.D. Garrett.
Pro-Build Holdings, based in Denver, operates more than 520 distribution yards, assembly plants and manufacturing facilities in 41 states.
