West Elm to offer branded credit card
Williams-Sonoma’s home decor chain West Elm, which caters to young professionals in urban stores, will offer a private-label credit card following a deal with Alliance Data Systems. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Alliance Data Systems also renewed a contract to provide similar private-label credit card services for Williams-Sonoma's Pottery Barn brands, which include Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen.
As part of the agreement, Alliance Data will provide West Elm and Pottery Barn with account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, credit authorization, card issuance, statement generation, remittance processing and customer service functions associated with the private-label cards.
Williams-Sonoma operates 28 West Elm stores in the United States and Puerto Rico.
