Chicago -- The 2013 True Value Reunion promised a new experience for dealer attendees. Held in Chicago Sep. 20-22, the market event attracted a record crowd and helped introduce the new leadership tandem of John Hartmann, CEO, and Brent Burger, chairman of the board.

The wording of the name of the event was carefully chosen to rebrand the True Value Company's fall market and convention as an enthusiastic gathering of family.

“Re-branding our market to ‘reunion’ reinforces our brand positioning and is a celebration of the True Value family,” said Blake Fohl, VP marketing and chief customer officer.

On the show floor, the co-op's efforts in Farm, Ranch, Auto and Pet were pronounced. And a "Town Center" area for the first time served as a stage for education, meet-and-greets and musical performances throughout the day.
