Stock Building Supply's Albuquerque branch is the latest company to be carrying PureColor Prefinished Interior Doors, which uses a high-performance, odorless, zero-VOC finish.

The doors are made with sustainable, recycled-material High Density Fiberboard with a hollow or solid core, and they come in a variety of color choices topped off with PureColor EvenGrain finishes.

Albuquerque-based Mud Monsters Pond and Landscape Supply has been sold to Randy Kindrick, who has been managing the business for the past four years.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Kindrick acquired the company from Savio Engineering and its owners Keith and Valerie Steele. According to the acquisition announcement, the Steeles have decided to solely concentrate efforts on Savio Engineering and recently expanded their business opening a second east coast location in New Jersey.

Rocky Mountain Stone in Albuquerque, N.M., won first prize in the Artisan Group photo contest for an elaborate kitchen project using Artisan Stone Collection Gold Coast granite.

The kitchen in the winning photos was designed by homeowners Greg & Shana Levenson, and fabricated and installed by Artisan Group member Rocky Mountain Stone. The contractor was Brian Matteucci Construction, and the photographer was Jerry Goffe. 

The contest was open to all 35 Artisan Group member companies. Second place went to Top Master in Kansas City.
