Las Vegas -- Memphis, Tenn.-based distributor Orgill recently signed a distribution agreement with BMC, supplying hardlines to the Boise, Idaho-based pro dealer.

The distribution and services deal was signed late last year, and replaces BMC's similar distribution agreement with True Value Corp. The transition is in its early stages, according to both Orgill and BMC.

Orgill is making its first appearance at the BMC National Meeting and trade show in Las Vegas Jan. 8-11.

Salt Lake City — Near BMC’s West Jordan, Utah, facility, a builder is planning 177 new homes on a single plat. The project is expected to take place during a six-month window of construction.

Bolstered by rising revenues and a successful, ongoing turnaround effort, Boise, Idaho-based BMC has been named the 2012 Pro Dealer of the Year by Home Channel News.

BMC will accept the 2012 Pro Dealer of the Year award during the Oct. 24 to 26 ProDealer Industry Summit in Savannah, Ga. The event is hosted jointly by the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association and Home Channel News.

The theme was "America's Homebuilding Recovery Starts With Us." The place was Las Vegas. And the guest speaker was football legend Terry Bradshaw. 

The second annual BMC National Sales Meeting was an all-hands-on-deck affair for the Boise, Idaho-based pro dealer's sales team and branch operations managers. The Jan. 9 to 12 event also had 140 vendor companies represented, along with about 200 customers. 

BMC, the Boise, Idaho-based pro dealer, has announced an amendment to its senior secured credit facility with Wells Fargo Capital Finance, the company’s working capital lender. The new agreement lowers the rates and fees payable under the facility and increases the company’s borrowing capacity to the full $50 million amount available.

BMC has had no cash borrowings under the facility since it was put in place on Jan. 4, 2010, and anticipates none in the coming year.
