BrassCraft Manufacturing is courting plumbing contractors with the new Zip-It tool, a cost-effective, chemical-free solution to common clogged drain problems.

"Zip-It could save the contractor time and is easy to use; it's always worth a try on a clogged drain," said channel marketing director Charles Pryde. "Every contractor should have one of these in his tool box and keep a ready supply on his truck."

Novi, Mich.-based BrassCraft Manufacturing is launching a new look for its retail line of water and gas plumbing products as it brings all of the line under the BrassCraft label.

Over two years of focused research and customer feedback has been considered in the design of the new packaging which consolidates the company’s line of plumbing supplies under the BrassCraft brand. The new packaging began hitting store shelves in mid-January, with a complete rollout expected by April 2014.

Novi, Mich.-based BrassCraft Manufacturing, a Masco Company involved in the manufacture of plumbing products, has hired Roger Hernandez as territory sales manager for Ohio and Kentucky.

The video, “Leading the No-Lead Wave,” comes on the heels of the company’s no-lead law landing page on its website and a national advertising campaign.

BrassCraft Manufacturing, a division of Masco, has promoted George Werner to the position of VP retail sales. In this position, Werner will direct retail sales strategies and initiatives in support of BrassCraft Manufacturing's business goals and sales targets. In addition to all retail sales, with the exception of The Home Depot, Werner's responsibilities include the retail and wholesale segments of business for BrassCraft service parts and Cobra products.

Novi, Mich.-based BrassCraft Manufacturing put a new stamp on its made-in-the-USA operations by unveiling a new logo with a patriotic theme.

The new logo has the American flag in the center of the words "designed, machined and assembled in the USA."

The company's water connectors, water stops, gas connectors and appliance connectors are designed in the United States and machined at plants in Lancaster, Texas; Corona, Calif.; and Thomasville, N.C.
