Coleman is recalling about 95 units of its Northstar Liquid Fuel Lanterns following two reports of lanterns catching fire when fuel unexpectedly leaked from the bottom of the unit.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, some of the lanterns contain incorrect gas feed tubes that release too much fuel when lit.

Rialto, Calif.-based Bull Outdoor Products Inc., manufacturer of outdoor grills, carts and outdoor kitchens will begin manufacturing a line of Coleman BBQ Grills, including Carts, Outdoor Kitchens and their components.  

“We are excited to combine the strength of the Coleman brand with our manufacturing and retail knowledge to introduce a quality grill program into the marketplace,” said Frank Mello, VP sales and marketing, about the licensing deal.

Just shy of its 100th anniversary, Harrodsburg, Ky.-based Coleman's Lumber and Home Center has closed its doors.

VP Cala Coleman confirmed to Home Channel News that the single-unit home center near Lexington, Ky. is going out of business.

According to the company's website, the business started as a flour mill in 1912. Owner Jack Coleman Jr. is the great grandson of company founder Clell Coleman, according to the website.

The new areas of business are described as Washington, D.C.; Baltimore/New Jersey/Pennsylvania; Charleston, S.C.; and Greenville, S.C.
