Kris Matula and Mack Hogans are the newest addition to Boise Cascade's board of directors, the company announced Wednesday. The two join the board as longtime member Samuel Mencoff resigns.

Matula is the retired president and CEO of cellulose-based product manufacturer Buckeye Technologies, which Georgia-Pacific acquired in 2013. Before his time at the head of the company, Matula served as Buckeye’s CFO. He’ll serve on Boise Cascade’s compensation committee.

After announcing its plans last December to do away with yet another one of its assets, Sears Holdings officially completed its spinoff of the Lands' End unit on Friday. 

As according to plan, Lands' End began trading as a separate company Monday (stock ticker symbol LE), with about 32 million shares to its name. Those holding Sears shares as of March 24, 2014 received about .3 shares of common Lands' End stock per Sears share.

Masonite International Corporation has filed to become a U.S. reporting company on the New York Stock Exchange, with plans to withdraw its previous Form S-1 registration statement after a proposed $150 million initial public offering in February.

Additionally, the company applied for the listing of its common shares under the "DOOR" ticker symbol.

HD Supply Holdings, the indirect parent of HD Supply, announced that it will launch an initial public offering of 53,191,489 shares of common stock.

The company hopes to raise $1.3 billion in its initial public offering, funds used to pay debt, transaction fees and other expenses. Shares of HDS are expected to become available through NASDAQ June 26.
