Heating and air-conditioning giant Lennox International reported second-quarter revenue of $934 million, up 2% from the same quarter last year.

Adjusted income from continuing operations in the second quarter was $49.6 million, up from $46.8 million in the same quarter last year.

The figures reflect the company’s sale of its Hearth business in April 2010.

Lennox International reported third-quarter net income of $33.8 million, down 19% from $41.8 million in the same period last year. Revenue for the third quarter was $923 million, up 13% from $818.2 million in the third quarter of 2010.

Dallas-based heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration manufacturer Lennox International announced it has completed its purchase of the Kysor/Warren business from The Manitowoc Company. 

Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Based in Columbus, Georgia, Kysor/Warren is a manufacturer of refrigerated systems and display cases for supermarkets throughout North America.
