Graeber’s Lumber, a one-unit lumberyard and millwork shop in Fairless Hills, Pa., closed for business on July 11, according to a notice on its website. 

Located in Buck’s County, about 20 miles outside of Philadelphia, Graeber’s Lumber did $17 million in sales in 2009, according to the latest figures available. It sold roofing, flooring, kitchen and bath fixtures, windows and doors, in addition to lumber and other wood products.

Huttig Building Products, the St. Louis-based distributor, reported net sales of $99.5 million for the quarter that ended March 31, 2011, approximately 3.9% lower than the same quarter in 2010. Sales declined in both the millwork and building products categories but increased in the wood product category in 2011 from 2010. Millwork sales decreased approximately 8% in 2011 to $47.3 million. Building product sales decreased approximately 1% in 2011 to $40.8 million. Wood products sales increased approximately 6% to $11.4 million in 2011.
