After surveying its membership across North America, the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) has released its kitchen and bath trends for 2012, based on the results of 350 K&B designers who participated in the fourth-quarter 2011 survey.

Lowe’s has announced that it will partner with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) to launch a program to educate and train Lowe’s employees who specialize in interior kitchen and bath projects.

Because of this membership and training program, Lowe’s employees who work in the kitchen cabinets, countertops and fashion plumbing departments and as interior project specialists will have the opportunity to earn NKBA certifications.

Results from the third-quarter survey from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) indicated a 42% rise in showroom traffic and a 36% increase in kitchen remodel sales volumes from one year ago, as well as a significant increase -- 85% -- in bathroom sales over the third quarter of 2010.  Overall, kitchen and bath remodeling revenues reported by NKBA dealer members rose 69% in year-over-year figures.

As part of Chicago's city-wide schedule adjustments to accommodate the G8 and NATO summits in May 2012, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) has moved up its annual trade show and conference to April 24 to 26 at McCormick Place.

The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is expecting to draw some 40,000 attendees to Las Vegas April 26 to 28.

The 48th annual event from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) will feature a broader array of offerings, the latest in trends and technology, and more opportunities to collaborate with peers and exhibitors, according to the NKBA.

With the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show only weeks away — it runs from April 26 to 28 in Las Vegas — the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) just released the results of its annual members’ poll about upcoming design trends. The Hackettstown, N.J.-based trade group asked 100 of its designers what they’ve been installing in their clients’ kitchens and bathrooms, and then distilled the results into 11 trends.
