The National Hardware Show announced that Black + Decker will return to the May 6-8 event in Las Vegas as an exhibitor.

The iconic tool and home improvement brand is coming off a recent brand identity redesign.

"Black + Decker's presence will enhance the show for many of our buyers, attracting new buyers and industry professionals who will come to see what the new look and feel will mean for them," said Richard Russo, VP of the National Hardware Show.

Whether it’s a product designed to bring efficiency to the home, save time for the DIYer or allow a consumer a chance to feel good about buying a Made-in-the-USA product, show organizers have taken steps to give permanence to the show-floor activity.

The May 1 to 3 event at the Las Vegas Convention Center will see a few new twists.

For the first time at the show, a “Made in the USA Pavilion” will showcase domestic-made products.

Richard Russo has seen more than his fair share of new products in his career with the National Hardware Show. And in recent years, he's seeing an increasing number of made-in-the-USA products along with research indicating the trend is real.

"It came up pretty strong in our research," said Russo, director of the National Hardware Show. "Made in the USA was trending strong on the consumer side. And the retailers were clearly interested in what we at the National Hardware Show would be able to expose them to at the event."
