Demand for fencing in the U.S. is forecast to expand 7.1% annually through 2016, according to a report just released by The Freedonia Group, a Cleveland-based market research firm.

Demand for fencing in the U.S. is forecast to expand 7.1% annually through 2016, according to a report just released by The Freedonia Group, a Cleveland-based market research firm. Growth will be driven by an expected rebound in building construction from a depressed 2011 base.  Advances will also be supported by rising installation of high-value fences, such as ornamental metal and composite fencing.  Consumers are turning to these materials because of their favorable aesthetic and performance properties, the report said.

Aurora, Colo.-based Bona US, the hardwood floor care and maintenance company, will be an Official Hardwood Floor Care Partner of the National Basketball Association (NBA). 

Many NBA teams are already playing on floors finished with Bona including the New Orleans Hornets, San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors and Denver Nuggets.

The contests -- where participants will compete in driving screws into a challenging surface -- will help promote the WBC Light Middleweight Championship fight between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Ryan Rhodes on June 18 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Established in 1992, Satellite Manufacturing is based in Georgia and has a staff of approximately 90 employees.

Jeld-Wen and the Portland Timbers soccer team announced a new naming rights partnership for the team’s newly renovated home venue, which now will be known as Jeld-Wen Field. 

The multiyear deal provides stadium naming rights for the downtown Portland venue that annually will play host to Timbers home games as well as college and high school football games, and other events.

Jeld-Wen Field officially will be opened to the public when the Timbers play the Chicago Fire April 14, in their first-ever home match as an MLS team.
