Valspar expands Pro Paint Program at Lowe's

The effort brings a line of Valspar Pro and dedicated in-store service to more than 1,700 Lowe’s retail locations, according to the manufacturer's announcement.

Valspar hires new CFO

Minneapolis-based The Valspar Corp. announced Monday that former Best Buy executive James Muehlbauer has been named executive VP, chief financial and administrative officer.

Minneapolis-based The Valspar Corp. announced Monday that former Best Buy executive James Muehlbauer has been named executive VP, chief financial and administrative officer.

He will replace Lori Walker, who will retire in April.

Valspar opens R&D facility in China

The Valspar Corp. has announced the opening of a new research and development center in Shunde, China. The Valspar Applied Science and Technology Center will employ more than 200 scientists to support the continued growth of Valspar in Asia Pacific and Valspar’s research and development on a global basis.
