Pittsburgh-based Versatex Trimboard has announced the availability of a 1½-in.-thick, single-extruded, cellular PVC sheet with the launch of Versatex Max.

The product is available in nominal 48-in. widths and four standard lengths; 8 ft., 12 ft., 16 ft. and 18ft. Versatex Max sheets are promoted as offerig the same tight cell structure, density, core consistency and +/- 1/32-in. thickness tolerance found in all other Versatex products, the company said.

Pittsburgh-based Versatex Trimboard named Joe Ferrese as its new operations manager, in an appointment designed to enhance the manufacturer’s capabilities in both management and measurement. 

Versatex also recently welcomed three industry experts to its expanding team of marketing development specialists. Chris Cavens, Michael Gauthreaux and Krystin Hanley will focus on pull-through field sales activities involving builders, contractors and architects.

Pittsburgh-based Versatex Trimboard introduced a new 4-in. x 6-in. version of its labor-saving, one-piece Versawrap PVC column cladding system. 

The product minimizes field cutting, eliminates mitering and increases curb appeal by ensuring aligned corners on every column, according to the company. The 4-in. x 6-in. wrap complements the 4-in. x 4-in., 6-in. x 6-in. and 8-in. x 8-in. sizes.
