An off-duty police officer in central New Jersey was convicted of shoplifting in a jury trial on June 14, according to a press release issued by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office. 

Darnell Esdaile, 46, a Freehold Borough police office, was arrested at Home Depot in Freehold Township on Nov. 11, 2010. He was detained by loss prevention officers after exiting the store with laminate flooring he had not paid for. The merchandise was valued at approximately $500.

Today, Milligan is the VP operations for the world’s largest home improvement retailer. She describes her mission as taking responsibility for the nearly 2,000 U.S. stores from the front end to receiving to the back office. It’s a complex operation, but her team is charged to make it simple, or at least, as simple as possible.

Among the service differentiators, according to Ted Decker, Home Depot's senior VP, U.S. Retail, are dedicated cashier staffing, unique "power hours," loading assistance and a simplified returns process.
