Forest products giant Weyerhaeuser says it will reorder its leadership team this summer.

Current SVP, general counsel Sandy McDade is retiring in July. Succeeding her will be Devin Stockfish, who will also maintain his current role as corporate secretary. Stockfish has been serving as corporate secretary and assistant general counsel since last June. Before joining the company, he was VP & associate general counsel at Univar Inc.

Also retiring is Sara Kendall, VP corporate affairs and sustainability, on May 2.

The Home Depot is announcing the nomination of Wayne Hewett for election to its board of directors during its 2014 annual meeting of shareholders.

Bonnie Hill, the board's lead director, will not stand for re-election; the company's corporate governance guidelines require directors to retire upon reaching the age of 72 by the end of the calendar year preceding the annual meeting. Gregory Brenneman has been selected to succeed her as lead director.

Preliminary estimates of consumer confidence weighed in at 82.3 in March, beating June 2013's figure of 82.1 and reaching a high not seen since January 2008, according to The Conference Board.

Confidence had slipped in the fall and winter, with February's score coming in at an upwardly revised estimate of 78.3. All indications are that consumers are shaking off their winter doldrums and are looking ahead to a sunnier spring and summer season.

Most U.S. workers say they are satisfied with their current health benefits and express little interest in changing the mix of benefits and wages their employer offers, according to a new survey by the nonprofit Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI).

And even though enactment of the Affordable Care Act has raised questions about whether employers will continue to offer health coverage to their workers in the future, the importance of benefits -- especially health insurance -- when it comes to choosing a job remains high.

Consumer confidence rebounded to 80.7 in January, its highest level since August of last year, according to the Conference Board. Confidence had rebounded in December as well to a downwardly revised figure of 77.5.

Fello began his career in the window industry at Thermal Industries as a branch manager and held director positions at Traco, including quality, manufacturing and materials.
