San Marcos, Texas-based McCoy’s Building Supply promoted several executives -- including one representing the fourth generation of family leadership -- to senior positions.
Meagan McCoy Jones has been promoted to senior VP and chief operating officer at McCoy’s Building Supply. James Lewallen has been appointed to the newly created position of VP culture and customer experience, and Waylon Walker has been promoted to VP store operations.
NASHVILLE, TENN. — Like most of us, Alan Clark worries about the direction of legislation and politics. Like few of us, he got himself elected to the Arkansas state senate.
Clark, the VP and chief operating officer of two-unit Clark Lumber Co. in Hot Springs, Ark., is also the state’s senator for the 13th district. He was part of a wave of recent Republican party victories in Bill Clinton’s backyard. Clark’s legislative class has the first Republican majority in the Arkansas state legislature in 138 years.
Kent, Ohio-based Carter Lumber promoted Jeff Donley to the post of president and chief operating officer.
The company also promoted Jeff Seder and Kip Gleckler.
Donley has been with Carter Lumber since 1995 and has served in a variety of management positions, including risk manager, chief financial officer and most recently as senior VP and chief operating officer.
Donald DeMarie Jr., executive VP and chief operating officer of Masco, has left the company “to pursue other opportunities,” according to a Nov. 10 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). DeMarie’s departure was effective Nov. 4.
Masco and DeMarie are working together to ensure a smooth transition, according to the SEC filing.
